Lynn Ramey is Associate Professor of medieval and Early Modern French language and culture at Vanderbilt University. As an undergraduate, she studied computer science and French literature and has retained an interest in ways that technology can enhance our understanding of the past. Her research interests are in travel, cultural conflict, and assimilation and her publications in the field include two books, five edited volumes, and numerous articles.
Todd Hughes is the Director of Instructional Technologies in the Center for Second Language Studies at Vanderbilt University. In addition to playing a key role in organizing Vanderbilt University’s THATCamps, he facilitates working groups that provide opportunities for Vanderbilt Faculty and staff to gain skills in using the most important tools for Digital Humanities.
